My Favorite Pregnancy Reading Resources

With just over a month left before Baby #2 arrives I though I'd share some of my favorite reading resources for pregnancy! :-) Here are some of my favorites:

The Naturally Healthy Pregnancy

I personally don't own this book (one day!) but have read most of my Mom's copy.  It's a wonderful resource for just about anything pregnancy related.  Shonda Parker is gifted with much knowledge about naturally staying healthy, her other books Mommy Diagnostics & Naturally Healthy Woman are great too!

Under the Apple Tree

During my first pregnancy my midwife loaned me this book.  It's wonderful and very helpful, especially for a first-time mommy-to-be!

Natural Childbirth the Bradly Way

Wonderful book!  I learned a lot from it.

I also enjoy Baby Center for their weekly emails of baby's developments. :-)

What are your favorite books for pregnancy &/or childbirth?

I love Natural Childbirth the Bradley Way! I read it during my second pregnancy as well and learned SO much! I'm reading Ina May's Guide to Childbirth now (pregnant w/number 3) and I'm amazed at how much I'm learning from it. I thought I knew a lot about labor and childbirth. But wow, it's really good. :-)

Coming by from The Better Mom!

I, too, have read the Bradley book as well as Ina May Gaskin's works and am re-reading them with baby #3 now. They really inspire and encourage me to be informed about what is going on inside my body whereas many people I know don't want to know; they just put all of their concerns in the hands of a doctor. Knowledge is power! Thanks for sharing. I'll be looking into those other books. Visiting from Growing Home.

That final month is so full of anticipation! I clearly remember waiting for the moment that my twins would finally make their way to my arms. Seven months have now passed more quickly that one month did while pregnant!! May God be near as you await your second blessing! Thank you so much for linking up!
