Thankful Tuesday #4 on Wednesday *barely*

Hi Everyone!

I've been just so busy these last few days. It just hit me now that today is Wednesday and not Tuesday so I guess I'll do my post today for yesterday! :-) I don't know why I thought it was Tuesday though...we are leaving tomorrow on a trip to visit family and for weeks I've known it was a Thursday we'd leave on. I've been pretty busy preparing and getting ready to be gone from our home for 2 weeks.

Here's my list of the things I'm thankful for today:

32. My beloved family
33. The many different way to travel.
34. Encouraging promises in the Word of God
35. A new Washer and Dryer
36. Warmer days & spending time outside.
37. Painting our kitchen! Oh, it's so much better. Our house is older and all the walls are brown paneling... So, we decided -kind of on a whim - to paint our kitchen yellow. We started Saturday afternoon and finished on Monday. (Pictures to come...)
38. Electricity
39. Safety on the road for family
40. Teething gel :-)
41. The Love Dare - my husband and I are reading it together right now and have been so blessed. It's such an encouraging devotional to build 1. your relationship with God first and then 2. to build your marriage stronger. We've only been married for just a few months over a year now and we don't have any problems (to God be the glory!), but I think I can say for both of us that this book will make a difference in our walks with the Lord and together.

I hope your week is going well and you have been blessed!

Blessings to all!

Tabitha

  3. We take electricity for granted way too often. And instead of teething I'd choose cough syrup...when we prayed tonight my daughter said she was thankful her family cared enough to make sure she had medicine to feel better. (She has ear infections now) it made me stop and appreciate even more that she thinks in terms of looking for those blessings in life b/c not everyone has them.
Thank you for linking up this week!

  6. I know what it's like to be thankful for electricity! We had a power outage not too long ago when it was nearly 100 degrees -- no more portable air conditioner!
